Sako Masato

Sako dropped out of Chuo University and then enrolled in the theater company Gekidan Kumo. He later transferred to Engekishuden En. He was diagnosed with cancer in July 2000 and had to stop his activity for treatment. On January 11, 2003, Sako died of oral cancer in an Iwakuni hospital at the age of 56.
His eldest daughter, Sako Mayumi, is also a voice actress.
