  • Native name: 市川治
  • Also Known as: いちかわ おさむ
  • Nationality: Japanese
  • Gender: Male
  • Born: June 21, 1936
  • Died: January 2, 2009
Ichikawa Osamu was a Japanese actor and voice actor. He was born in Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture. He was a freelancer at the time his death.

Ichikawa was known for his work with Ikemizu Michihiro in the Theatre Echo productions of Kamen Rider and Henshin Ninja Arashi. He had also voiced some characters, such as Zoffy in Ultraman Ace and Marshall Machine in Kamen Rider Stronger.

In the late 1980s, Ichikawa took a break from voice acting due to a sore throat. During this time, he also began working as a general producer for English language teaching materials, and came up with the idea for the "local chime" that was played on the Joetsu Shinkansen trains. Ichikawa established Shin Nippon Kikaku to manage his patents and also began training the next generation of voice actors.

On January 9, 2009, Ichikawa fell ill while taking a bath and died of heart failure at the age of 72. His last work was the voice of Norris Packard in the arcade game Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS. Gundam NEXT, which was released in March of the same year. He was married and had two sons.
