Before debuting, she worked as a trainee and moved to China to gain experience as she was expected to be part of a hip hop girl group. After several delays, the group never debuted, and she decided to become a trot singer, even learning the singing techniques by herself. During her years as a trainee, she made her debut in 2017 with her first mini-album, "Come To Me", and also appeared as a contestant in "Fantastic Duo Season 2".
In 2025, she participated in the trot survival show "King of Singers Season 3", where she finished in 4th place and earned a spot in the show's national tour. She is represented by Dream of Best (드림오브베스트).
