She rose to fame in 1994 with the serialized novel "Min Baau Su Seung Dik Neui Yan" for Ming Pao. Her novel "Hoh Baau Lui Dik Daan Yan Chong," published in May 1997, immediately topped the Hong Kong bestsellers list. In 1998, she founded Hong Kong's first local women's magazine, "AMY," serving as its editor-in-chief until 2008.
