Hamza Al-Sal is a Yemeni actor based in China. Born in Yemen, he moved to China with his family in 2000 and grew up mainly in Yiwu, Zhejiang, before later moving to Shanghai for university.

Hamza first became interested in acting as a teenager after appearing in Dragon Blade starring Jackie Chan. The experience inspired him to pursue acting professionally, leading him to take on small roles in television dramas, commercials, and theatre productions while studying investment studies at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

He later shot to fame for his portrayal of Alexander in B for Busy, where his fluent Shanghainese and natural performance captivated audiences.
