He used to work independently and made his solo debut in October 2022 under the stage name "Yuwol" with the single album by the same name. He then signed with MPLIFY in 2025 and changed his stage name to "Brody" and re-debuted in February 2025 with the digital single "Why".
In September 2025, he entered the Mnet band survival show "Steal Heart Club" competing as a guitarist but was unable to debut in the resulting debut group after being eliminated in the 8th episode.
