Kim Ki Joong
- Name: Kim Ki Joong
- Native name: 김기중
- Also Known as: Kim Ki Jung, Kim Gi Jung
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: January 24, 2001
- Age: 25
He debuted in September 2017 as IM's vocalist and maknae with their first digital single, "Sad Story". The group was originally called IM66, and it was supposed to have 10 members, but only 4 ended up debuting in the sub-unit IM. The agency, MBK Entertainment (MBK엔터테인먼트; previously known as Core Content Media), was not able to promote the group correctly.
Later that year, he entered the singing survival show "The Unit" and finished in 8th place, earning a spot in the show's project group. He re-debuted in April 2018 as part of UNB with their first mini-album, "Boyhood". The group was represented by PocketDol Studio (포켓돌스튜디오), but they were not able to negotiate an extension to their contracts, and UNB disbanded in January 2019.
Around the same time, IM also disbanded, and MBK Entertainment placed him as a potential member of their new boy group, BAE173, but he was ultimately not included in the final lineup.
He took a two-year break to analyze his options, and in 2021, he reappeared as a contestant in "Extreme Debut: Wild Idol" but, he finished just outside of the Top-7 and could not join the project group.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on December 12, 2022, and was discharged on June 11, 2024.
