He participated in JTBC’s survival show "Mixnine", ranking 6th and earning a spot in the final project group. However, due to contract disputes between YG Entertainment and the agencies from the selected trainees, the debut was ultimately cancelled. After switching agencies, he made his debut in 2017 (under the stage name A-Day) as SEVEN O'CLOCK's leader, main rapper, main dancer, vocalist and visual with their 1st EP, "Butterfly Effect." The group underwent several lineup changes and, due to the lack of promotions, officially disbanded in March 2021.
He re-debuted in July 2021 as a member of OMEGA X with their first single album, "Vamos." However, in October 2022, a video of the CEO of OMEGA X's (Spire Entertainment) label abusing him and his group members came to light. The members filed a lawsuit against their company to cancel their exclusive contracts and to file for the trademark of their group name. In January 2023, OMEGA X won the lawsuit and officially ended their contract with the agency. This was finally made official on May 8, 2023. The group has been represented by IPQ (아이피큐) since July 2023.
He made his acting debut in 2024 with a role in the BL drama "Jazz For Two".
