Byeong Kwan Kim

Kim Byeong Kwan

  • Name: Kim Byeong Kwan
  • Native name: 김병관
  • Also Known as: BK, Jason, Kim Byung Kwan, Kim Byeong Gwan
  • Nationality: South Korean
  • Gender: Male
  • Born: August 13, 1996
  • Age: 28
Kim Byeong Kwan, formerly known professionally as Jason, is a South Korean singer, dancer and member of A.C.E (에이스). He graduated from Hanlim Arts High School and was part of the dance team Urban Boyz.

He first appeared on TV as a contestant in "K-Pop Star Season 1". Then, in early 2017, he participated in the survival show "MIXNINE", making it into the final lineup after finishing in 4th place. However, YG Entertainment decided to cancel the resulting project group claiming the show was not successful, so debuting a group presented a huge risk for the company.

After switching agencies, he made his debut in May 2017 as A.C.E's main dancer, vocalist and rapper with their first single album, "Cactus". The group enjoyed initial success thanks to the agency's idea of going busking in Hongdae while covering well-known songs.

In May 2018, Beat Interactive (비트 인터렉티브) announced he was dropping his stage name and started using his birth name for all group-related activities.

He enlisted for his mandatory military service on April 11, 2022, and was discharged on October 10, 2023.
