Kwon Chae Won

  • Name: Kwon Chae Won
  • Native name: 권채원
  • Also Known as: Eunchae, 은채, Eun Chae
  • Nationality: South Korean
  • Gender: Female
  • Born: May 26, 1999
  • Age: 25
Kwon Chae Won, previously known as Eunchae, is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer, actress and former member of DIA. She graduated from Hanlim Entertainment Arts High School focusing on Entertainment and later obtained a bachelor's degree in K-Pop from Dong-Ah University of Broadcasting and Arts. Before debuting she was a trainee at Ensoul Entertainment and was part of Project A, but her debut never materialized and left the company.

She made her official debut in 2016 by joining DIA (who debuted the year before) as the lead vocalist, lead dancer, lead rapper and, at the time, maknae of the group with their 2nd mini-album "Happy Ending". She was introduced as a new member using her birth name, Chae Won, but a few weeks later, the agency announced that to avoid confusion with fellow member Chae Yeon, she was changing her stage name to Eunchae. Sadly, the group faced frequent lineup changes and delayed or postponed releases which hindered their ability to gain more fans.

She debuted as an actress in 2017 with a role in the web drama "The Shining Nation" and has appeared in a few more such as "Cherry Blossoms After Winter".

In late 2022, DIA left PocketDol Studio (MBK Entertainment & Interpark’s sub-label) as the members did not renew their contracts. The group has not officially disbanded but is on indefinite hiatus. She is expected to participate in SBS's singing survival show "Universe Show" in late 2023.
