Despite his young age, he's able to go up until the Cypher battle with Snoopdog as the star guest judge. He was young and shorter than the other contestant so he didn't got the chance to take the mic, until a rapper Seo Chul Gu (a.k.a Xitsuh) took the mic from the other contestant and give it to Yang Hong Won in the last minute caused himself not getting a chance to show his rap and got eliminated. The two of them became close and the scene became the hot topic at that time.

Later, in 2017 he joined High School Rapper under the mentoring of Seo Chul Gu (Xitsuh) and Giriboy.
