From a young age, he developed a strong interest in the arts and studied music, songwriting, oil painting, and watercolor sketching. He later pursued acting at the Central Academy of Drama, one of China’s most prestigious performing arts institutions. During his time at the academy, he participated in several stage productions, gaining early experience in theatre performance.
After graduating, he joined the Beijing People's Art Theatre, where he continued to develop his acting career through stage performances. In 2011, he made his film debut in the film "The Flowers of War". In the same year, he appeared in his first television drama, "Broken-Winged Butterfly".
