Haruna Fuka was born in Kanagawa on February 4, 2001. She is a currently an actress, voice actor, talent, and blogger who got her start as a child actor. She belongs to Production Ace. Her younger brother is actor Haruna Shuya.

Fuka has been a notable subject of cyberbullying following comments she's posted to Twitter. In 2012, she embarked on a campaign to make the internet safer for children and was subjected to threatening messages and bullying. Noted Kyorin professor Hiraoka Atsushi weighed in when asked about it in 2014 saying that her comments were "universal" and did not warrant the negativity against her.
