Brian
- Name: Brian
- Native name: 브라이언
- Also Known as: 주민규, Joo Min Kyu, 朱珉奎, 주진택, 브라이언 진택 주, Joo Jin Taek, Jun Jin Taek, Ju Min Gyu, Brian Joo
- Nationality: American
- Gender: Male
- Born: January 10, 1981
- Age: 45
One of his friends signed him up for an audition without his knowledge. The company, Brothers Entertainment, was looking for Korean-Americans who wanted a career in entertainment. After several months of training, he was sent back to South Korea to continue training at SM Entertainment (SM엔터테인먼트). He made his debut in November 1999 as part of a newly created R&B duo with their first album, "Day by Day". They quickly gained popularity as SM gave them an idol-themed image and had them sing only mid-tempo ballads. By 2005, both him and Hwanhee were uncomfortable with their album concepts, and when their contracts ended, they signed with People Creative (formerly PFull Entertainment).
The duo also began having internal conflicts as Hwanhee was often more praised than him, which brought some unresolved issues between them. After rumors of a possible disbandment, he made his debut as a solo artist in December 2006 with the album, "The Brian". After several years of hiatus, the duo reunited in 2014 with their 9th album, "Continuum". He is represented by B*You Entertainment (비유엔터테인먼트) for all his individual activities, and the duo has not been represented by any agency since 2020.
