Toro is a Taiwanese singer, actor, songwriter, and producer, best known as a member of the boy group Energy.

Born into a textile family in Tainan, Toro gained early recognition at 17 when he won first place in a global talent search event organized by Japan's Johnny & Associates. Though initially set to join "Johnny's Jr." and launch his career in Japan, he chose not to sign due to language barriers and other challenges. He later met the manager responsible for forming Energy and became its first member. In July 2002, Toro officially debuted with Energy, contributing as a songwriter.

In 2008, Toro founded "Toro Production" and formed the rock band Overdose, where he acted as both manager and producer. In 2012, he became the director of the Taiwan branch of Hong Kong's Media Asia Film Group and contributed as a columnist for Men's Uno magazine. In 2016, he founded a film company and took on leadership roles at an internet media platform, including working as a presidential advisor for an Asian internet media company affiliated with Def Jam.

By 2024, Toro had rejoined Energy under the label Believe Music, marking his return to the music scene.
