He was set to debut as part of the boy group EIGHT (에잇) in 2019. They promoted in Japan for two months under co-management by JTG Entertainment and JSL Japan and were supposed to debut in South Korea in early 2020. However, after their promotional activities in Japan ended, they simply silently disbanded.
He made his debut in May 2021 when he was introduced as BZ-BOYS' new lead vocalist with their digital single, "Contrast". The group had debuted in June 2019, but Chrome Entertainment (크롬엔터테인먼트) decided to add a fifth member. However, they had very limited opportunities to promote since their debut. The last material they released was their mini-album, "Outlaw", in 2023.
In February 2024, the agency announced his departure from the group with no further explanation. He briefly joined Chung Dong Hwan (formerly known professionally as Double.D) and Yun Jung Hwan (now known professionally as Luven) in a project group called LCY and promoted in Japan for a few months before ending activities.
He made his debut as a solo artist in June 2024 with the single "Look Like U". He then enlisted for his mandatory military service on August 5, 2024, and was discharged on February 4, 2026.
