He made his debut in April 2017 as UNIT BLACK's main rapper with their 1st single "Steal Your Heart." The group was the first promotional unit formed after the conclusion of singing survival show BOYS24 (소년24). However, under their agreement, they were only active for 4 months and disbanded in August of the same year.
In 2019, he re-debuted as a soloist (under the stage name OBON) with the single "Good Time." He decided to venture into modeling in early 2020 with ads in BMW and Coca Cola.
In 2021, he made his acting debut with a role in the web drama "Woof & Meow - Do You Love Me?" (카밍시그널 멍냥멍냥) and is now represented by HICON Entertainment (하이콘엔터테인먼트 ).
