Miller appeared in two 2009 films: a live action version of Blood: The Last Vampire and 17 Again, where she played Zac Efron's high school girlfriend Scarlett.

In 2011, Miller co-starred as Skye Tate in the Steven Spielberg-produced series Terra Nova. The series was not renewed for a second season.[10] In 2012, she started appearing in the NBC comedy Go On opposite Matthew Perry. The show was cancelled after one season.
