Mizushima Ryotaro

After graduating from the Japanese-French Law School, he entered "Kawakami Otojiro Ichiza". After that, he joined the Yoshizawa Shoten Meguro Studio, which opened in 1908. The company merged into Nikkatsu in 1912.
In 1920, he left Nikkatsu and participated in the establishment of Kokusai Katsuei. In the same year, he directed "Hi no Yama" and made his debut as a film director.
At the end of 1924, he transferred to Teikoku Kinema Edo, and next year he was transferred to Toho Film Factory, which was established due to a conflict within the company.
In 1950, he appeared in "Sasaki Kojiro" directed by Inagaki Hiroshi, but four years later, in 1954, he suddenly died due to myocardial infarction. He died 69 years old. Edit Biography
