JeA
- Name: JeA
- Native name: 김효진
- Also Known as: H.J, 제아
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Female
- Born: September 18, 1981
- Age: 44
She is responsible for creating the group and for selecting all the other members. They originally performed in small concerts and festivals under the names CRESCENDO and DARK ANGEL, spending 3 years in training before finally debuting.
She made her debut in March 2006 as the group's leader and main vocalist with their first album, "Your Story". They were dubbed as the faceless group because they did not appear in their own music video and did not promote in any music show. The release was a commercial failure, and their agency, Nega Network (내가네트워크), wanted them to disband. However, they decided to re-package their debut album, including a new single, "Hold The Line", which proved to be a huge hit. The single was selected as part of the music for the dance game "Pump It Up", so it also became a worldwide success.
She made her debut as a solo artist in 2013 with the album "Just JeA". She is also active as a producer and composer. The group signed with Mystic Story (미스틱스토리) in October 2015 and remains with the company for their activities. But, all members are also focused on their own schedules, and she is represented by Aura Entertainment (아우라엔터테인먼트) for individual appearances, by 12Entertainment (원투엔터테인먼트) for her activities in the U.S., and by MonoTree (모노트리) for her activities as a lyricist and composer.
