Nam Hee Suk is a South Korean comedian and MC. He graduated from Anyang Film Arts High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Advertising Creation from the Seoul College of Arts. He also attended the Theater and Film program at Dankook University but dropped out. He made his debut in 1991 when he participated at the 1st KBS University Comedy Festival and later was accepted as part of the 7th open recruitment for comedians at the network. He was only active for one year before having to fulfill his mandatory military service. When he was discharged, he moved to SBS where he was slowly introduced as an MC for several morning talk shows starting with "Good Friends" (좋은 친구들). The increase in popularity affected his health and went into a prolonged hiatus. After returning, he could not adapt to the new variety/reality shows and briefly returned to comedy in 2009. He is now focused on being an MC for shows that talk about senior citizens, farmers or rural areas. He became the host of the highly popular program "I'm Going to Meet You Now" (이제 만나러 갑니다) which has been running uninterrupted on Channel A since 2011.
