After the departure of Lee You Jin, YNB Entertainment (YNB엔터테인먼트) wanted to replace him. The members asked the company to add him to the group as he was already friends with all of them. So, he made his debut in December 2018, joining as the group's new rapper with the single "Lonely Night".
YNB then faced financial problems, and the company ceased operations, leaving the members without a contract and an agency. In early 2019, they signed with 220 Entertainment (220엔터테인먼트) and had several tours in the US and in Europe. However, after the promotion of their third EP, the group went on hiatus.
He debuted as an actor with a minor role in "Dali and the Cocky Prince" in 2021 and earned his first lead role in the BL webdrama "Happy Merry Ending" in 2023.
