In July 2017, Young Woong made his debut as the 14U's vocalist and rapper with their first single album "VVV." In May 2019, BG Entertainment (백곰엔터테인먼트) announced the group's disbandment after 13 members decided not to renew their contracts.
He married in 2018 and had a daughter in 2020 and has been out of the entertainment industry since 14U disbanded.
