Baek Cheong Kang is a Chinese-South Korean singer-songwriter. He was born in China, from a Chinese father and a South Korean mother. He participated in various music contests in China and won the first prize at Yanbian TV "National Youth Competition Audition" and the first "Youth New Children's Grand Prize". In 2010, he entered MBC's singing survival show "Star Audition: The Great Birth - Season 1" and finished as the winner. He made his debut in 2012 with the digital single "I Miss You" and later that year he released the mini-album "All Night". He also made his acting debut with a minor role in the movie "Tone-Deaf Clinic". However, his health began deteriorating soon after and he was diagnosed with rectal cancer. He underwent a complicated surgery to remove the tumor and spend almost a year in recovery. His contract with Thor Entertainment ended in March 2014 and he signed with Faith Entertainment. He returned in mid-2014 with the single "Bad Guy" featuring Double K and later released his 2nd mini-album, "White". He wrote and arranged 4 of the 6 songs in the mini-album. In 2016, he released the single "Bomb Di Bomb" but the cancer returned and had to spent the next two years in treatment. He returned in late 2019 with several appearances on "Immortal Songs". However, he stopped appearing on TV in early 2020 and, in February 2022, he announced he was going back to China where he is living at the moment.
