Jean Kao is a Taiwanese actress and singer from Jincheng, Kinmen, Taiwan. She graduated from Ming Hsin University of Science and Technology and previously worked as an engineer in Hsinchu Science Park. In 2015, she founded Dachuang Hong, an entertainment company, which was renamed Dachuang Hong International Co., Ltd. in 2018. That same year, she launched her brand, J.GAO.
