He made his debut in April 2019 (under the stage name Laon) as ENOi's leader, lead vocalist, sub-rapper and face of the group with their first single, "Bloom". They struggled to promote, and the members had different ideas of what type of music they should be releasing. So, in January 2021, Kithewhale Entertainment (키스웨일 엔터테인먼트) announced the group's disbandment. Four members (including him) remained with the company for a while longer.
He then re-debuted in March 2023 as the 2nd guitarist of the rock band MONKEY SHOULDER. He enlisted for his mandatory military service on October 10, 2023, and was discharged on April 21, 2025. As a result, the band is just resuming activities after all the members have fulfilled their duties.
