He made his debut in April 2019 (under the stage name Laon) as ENOi's leader, lead vocalist, sub-rapper and face of the group with their first single, "Bloom". They struggled to promote, and the members had different ideas of what type of music they should be releasing. So, in January 2021, Kithewhale Entertainment (키스웨일 엔터테인먼트) announced the group's disbandment. Four members (including him) remained with the company for a while longer.
He is now represented by KH iHQ (KH아이에이치큐) and made his acting debut in 2023 with a role as part of the fictional boy group WILD ANIMAL (와일드애니멀) that was created for the drama "The Heavenly Idol".
He then re-debuted in March 2023 as the vocalist and producer of the rock band MONKEY SHOULDER. The band has not been very active as several members have enlisted in the military since late 2023.
