He made his debut in April 2019 (using his birth name) as ENOi's sub-vocalist with their first single, "Bloom". The group struggled to promote and the members had different ideas of what type of music they should be releasing. So, in January 2021, Kithewhale Entertainment (키스웨일 엔터테인먼트) announced the group's disbandment. Four members remained with the company but he decided to leave.
After switching agencies, he re-debuted in July 2021 (under the stage name Kevin) as a member of OMEGA X with their first single album, "Vamos".
