Ohira Shosei is a Japanese singer, dancer, and former member of JO1 (ジェイオーワン). He graduated from EXPG Kyoto Dance School and spent time in the United States perfecting his dancing skills.

Before debuting, he worked as a backup dancer for several Japanese singers and South Korean groups. He first appeared on TV in 2019 as a contestant in the survival reality show "Produce 101 Japan", where he finished in 4th place. He earned a spot in the resulting project group, JO1, and made his debut in March 2020 with their first single, "Protostar". They enjoyed a successful debut and later won the Rising Star Award from the MTV Video Music Awards Japan and the Mnet Asian Music Award for Best Asian Artist.

However, in October 2025, he went on an indefinite hiatus after media reports revealed he was dating two women at the same time, one was a non-celebrity woman and the other was label mate Iida Shizuku of ME:I. He never returned to the lineup and, in April 2026, Lapone Entertainment (LAPONEエンタテインメント) confirmed his departure from the group after the expiration of his contract at the end of May.
