On February 1, 2016, G.NA was involved in a prostitution scandal that revealed she accused the unidentified businessman of offering her sex. She was investigated by the police for allegedly being paid around 35 million won for sexual relations. The case was resolved as G.Na was charged with prostitution and The Seoul Court ordered her to pay a fine of 2 million won. Later that month, it was revealed that her contract with Cube Entertainment expired in late 2015 and she left the agency.
