Gu Bon Seung is a South Korean entertainer and entrepreneur. He graduated from Whimoon High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Composition from Myongji University. He debuted as a singer in 1994 with the title track of his first album, "For You Only" that gained him some popularity. In 2002, he starred in the movie "Magic Castle" but the movie was poorly received and he decided to take a break from acting. After a hiatus of nearly four years, he returned to the entertainment industry by appearing in the morning drama "Now Love is Over" but with low ratings he decided to semi-retire from TV. He reappeared for the 2012 drama "Dear You" and in 2015 he was featured in season 1 of "Two Yoo Project Sugar Man" bringing his hit song back. Since then, he has made some appearances on variety shows as he is trying to return to the industry.
