Yao Huang is an Chinese actress. She was born in Foshan, Guangdong. She graduted from the Performance Department of the Central Academy of Drama. She debuted in 2016 in the film “The Great Master”. She is known or her roles in “The Crossing” (2018), “The Long Night” (2020) and “Minning Town” (2021).

In 2018, in The 2nd Pingyao International Film Festival, she won “Fei Mu Honorary Best Actress Award”. In 2019, in The 26th Beijing University Student Film Festival, she won “Best Newcomer Award” and was nominated in The 13th Asian Film Awards, where she won “Best New Actress Award”. In 2020, in The 28th Shanghai Film Critics Society Award, she won “New Actress of the Year” and in the 2019 Movie Channel M List, she won “Most Promising Actress Award”. In 2021, in The 27th Shanghai TV Festival - Magnolia Award, she won “Best Supporting Actress”.
