However, on February 25, 2023, he became involved in a major controversy when an anonymous individual made a post on an online community alleging that their friend had been physically assaulted and strangled by her boyfriend while trying to break up with him. Later that day, Keystone Entertainment (키스톤 엔터테인먼트) confirmed he was the person described in the post and that he would be leaving the group as a result.
He is now out of the entertainment industry.
