She has been active in the industry since 2014, when she began releasing digital singles under the stage name Meogayeong.
In October 2017, she appeared as a contestant in the survival reality show "Mixnine". She finished in 8th place and secured a spot in the finals. Unfortunately, as the boys ended up winning the competition, she was not able to debut in the resulting project group.
She returned to her agency and made her debut in October 2019 as ARIAZ's lead vocalist and lead rapper with their first mini-album, "Grand Opera". However, the opportunities to promote their material were scarce, and their comeback was delayed 18 months until mid-2021.
By late 2022, all the members' contracts had expired, and with no official announcement from Star Empire (스타제국), it is implied they quietly disbanded.
In 2022, she re-debuted as a solo artist (using the stage name HEYA) with the single album, "Looking at Love".
