She first appeared on TV in 2012 as a contestant in SBS's "K-Pop Star Season 2" but was eliminated before the finals. She then spent time as a trainee at Starship Entertainment, High Up Entertainment and P Nation.
In February 2022, she appeared in a video made by CEO Yoon In Seok of an unnamed company. She was revealed as the first member of the company's new girl group, IOLITE (아이올라이트). They were supposed to debut in October of that year, but the CEO kept postponing their debut date, citing the COVID-19 pandemic and economic difficulties as the main reasons.
She eventually decided to leave the group before the CEO ultimately decided to cancel their debut and disband them for unknown reasons. She announced her decision to quit the entertainment industry.
