While in the School of Commerce, Meiji University , he belonged to the Theater Department. After leaving the university, after working as a securities man, in 1941, at the age of 30 , joined the NHK Tokyo Broadcasting Theater Company . His classmates were Nakata Tomita and Michiko Kato .

Since then, he has been active as an actor and voice actor. Especially as a voice actor, he supported the early days of radio. Then, he became known for his role as Bando Kamezou on NHK Radio "Mukosangenryokunen", which started broadcasting in 1947, and became a leading actor of the theater company. He is also a well-known reader, and in 1959, won the Wada Award, which is given to outstanding readers. In TV animation, the role of Bill Franc in the masterpiece " Peline Story " and the role of Grandpa Pegin in " Alps Story My Annette " were famous. After leaving the NHK Tokyo Broadcasting Company, he worked for K-Production , Banshu Pro, etc. before joining Production Tank.

1994 December 30 He died in the hospital of the Saitama Prefecture Kawagoe due to pneumonia. Age 83. Edit Biography
