- Gender: Female
- Born: October 3, 1997

She then joined AKB48 as a 12th-generation trainee in February 2011 and made her first appearance at theater performance in May of that year. The group's producer, Yasushi Akimoto, wanted to form a girl group with its own theater and have them perform daily so fans could always see them live. In March 2012, she was promoted to the newly created Team 4 but was transferred to Team A in August 2012 when the original Team 4 was disbanded.
In February 2014, she was then transferred to Team B but returned to Team 4 (which was restarted in 2013) in March 2015 when she was appointed as the team's captain. She would lead the team for nearly three years before being transferred to Team B as its Captain in December 2017.
In May 2019, she announced her graduation from AKB48 as she signed an exclusive contract with South Korean company Woollim Entertainment (울림엔터테인먼트) to re-debut in the company's new group.
She re-debuted in August 2019 as ROCKET PUNCH's vocalist and dancer with their first EP, "Pink Punch". The group then appeared in Japan a few months later. While they had moderate success, the agency was never able to offer them enough opportunities to promote, and their fanbase was not very strong.
In May 2024, Woollim announced that she was leaving the company and the group to focus on her individual activities. She founded her own label, UI, and is now the CEO.
