Han Myeong Sook, known professionally as Han Hye Jin, is a South Korean actress and trot singer. She graduated from Geunhwa Girls' High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Film from the Seoul Institute of the Arts. She made her debut in 1985 as part of the 11th open recruitment for actors at KBS. In 1987, she debuted as a singer at the MBC Riverside Song Festival with the song "God of Love, Beside Me". She released two more songs in 1990 and 1991, but both were unsuccessful. She was a college classmate of singer Park Mi Kyung and is a close friend of trot singer Kim Yong Im. In 1993, she released "Brown Memories" and the song became a hit launching her career as a trot singer. She was married, then divorced and later remarried. Her 2nd husband was arrested for fraud and spent 3 years in prison before dying suddenly in 2021, however, her reputation also was affected by her husband's actions. She very rarely releases new singles but appears as guest on a few shows on Channel A and other smaller networks.
