Initially, in high school, he aspired to be a teacher, the same as his sister, and to get a job after completing educational training. He happened to see a poster recruiting announcers on the university bulletin board, and thought that "teachers and announcers have a common item of "one-to-many communication", which leads to studying to become a teacher," so he took the commemorative exam. He took the announcer test for TBS (currently Tokyo Broadcasting Systems Holdings), NTV, Fuji TV, and TV Asahi. However, NTV was not adopted in the document screening. TV Asahi was rejected before the final selection. TBS and Fuji TV passed the first round, but Fuji TV was rejected due to the delay in contacting the director of the personnel department of the same station, and only TBS did he pass the final selection. Joined TBS as an announcer in April 1997, with announcers Ryuta Ito and Hiroko Ogura, and other positions include Akihiko Ishimaru (drama producer) and Yuko Takeuchi. TBS TV due to organizational restructuring from October 1, 2004, Seconded to TBS Group on April 1, 2009, automatically transferred to the company when it became a broadcasting holding company.
In the 2000s, he worked as a billboard announcer of TBS → TBS TV, and he was on Oricon list "Favorite male announcer ranking", in 2009, in the Hall of Fame, for five consecutive weeks in the first place. Edit Biography
