Kim Dong Hyun
- Name: Kim Dong Hyun
- Native name: 김동현
- Also Known as: Donghyun, Kim Dong Hyeon, Dong Hyeon, Gim Dong Hyun, Gim Dong Hyeon
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: February 12, 1989
- Age: 37
He first appeared on TV in 2005 as part of KBS's variety show "Conduct Zero" (part of the Happy Sunday segment), where six rebellious high school students were transformed into model students. He made his acting debut in 2008 with a small role in the drama "Elephant".
He made his singing debut in May 2011 as the group's leader and lead vocalist with their first single also titled "Boyfriend". However, media critics and the public did not like their debut single and Starship Entertainment (스타쉽엔터테인먼트) tried to remedy the situation by quickly changing the entire choreography in just 2 days. The responses after that were much improved, and the group found a fanbase.
The group debuted in Japan in 2012 and then continued promoting in both countries, holding several concerts each year. He also became a musical actor and debuted in 2013 with a role in the Japanese musical "The Thousandth Man".
However, in May 2019, Starship announced the group had disbanded after all contracts expired.
Then, in May 2021, the whole group reunited to celebrate their 10th anniversary and released the digital single "Ending Credit". Talks of a possible comeback began gaining traction, and in December 2021, the group officially returned after re-branding to BF with the EP "Adonis".
He is represented by Sidus HQ (싸이더스HQ) for individual activities and by Westtime Entertainment (웨스트타임 엔터테인먼트) for BF activities.
