Tian Yi was born in Tieling City, Liaoning Province. Because his mother was very busy with work, he grew up with his grandmother's parents and was only picked up by his mother on weekends. When he was in elementary school, Tian Yi suffered campus bullying, which aggravated his solitary personality; in high school, his weight increased to 180 kg, and he was mocked by classmates wherever he went. Boys didn’t play with him, and girls didn’t like him.
