She debuted as the runner-up in the national finals of "Super Girl 2005" (2005超级女声). The following year, she released her first album, "Who Touched My String" (谁动了我的琴弦). Subsequently, she made her acting debut in "McDull, the Alumni" (春田花花同学会).
In 2007, she simultaneously released the albums "Now" and "Wow", winning "Best Female Singer" at the Chinese Top Ten Music Awards and China TOP Chart. In 2009, her album "Time" (时间) was the bestselling album of the year in mainland China. Soon after, her first solo concert broke the concert ticket sales record in mainland China. She established her own music studio, "Begins Studio" in 2012.
