Ian Chan is a Hong Kong singer-songwriter, actor, member of boy group MIRROR, runner-up of Good Night Show, former representative of Hong Kong men's volleyball team and member of Namwah First Team.

He graduated from St Francis Aide Primary School and Catholic English Secondary School. He became a member of the volleyball, track and field and basketball teams during his middle school years. He was active in various inter-school competitions and participated in the 2011-2012 Hong Kong academic elite volleyball competition. In, won the best setter and selected the star team. After entering the City University of Hong Kong, majoring in the Department of Public Policy and Politics. In the freshman year of the university, he won the competition at the singing school. He officially received professional singing training. He was also introduced to Supreme Production, and signed a contract as an artist. During this period, he was also a volleyball player, contract artist, and student.
