Hu Yu Tong, born in Changchun City, Jilin Province, is a drummer and leader of the Air League band, QYLM.
He graduated from Jilin Academy of Arts and Los Angeles Conservatory of Music. After graduating, he did not find a suitable music job in New York, USA, and then gave up his dreams of music and returned to China and changed his career to work in finance. After working in finance for a year, he still found that he was more suited to music, and with encouragement from his senior from Jilin Art College, he decided to quit his finance job and start his career in music. In order not to disturb the neighbors, he once rented a basement as a drum room for six months of drum practice.

In several songs Hu Yu Tong participated in the drum performance part of the songs sung by Zhu Xiao Tian / Ken Chu, Zhong Ya Nan, Hei Long, Xue Zhi Qian, Hao Wen, Jiao Mai Qi, Wen Kui, Bai Jia Jun, Ma Zhi Yu, Gao Jia Lang, and Yi Xiu.
From July to November 2019, Hu Yu Tong became the drummer of Jiao Mai Qi, and has also since then been the drummer for many other singers from one stage to another.
On August 17, 2019, he participated in the music variety show "Let's Band" produced by Youku. He eventually formed a band with Luo Yi Jun, Li Jin Wei, Cai Xin Hao, and Lin Geng Ming, called 22nd band. On October 10, in the final of "Let's Band" 22nd band won 2nd place.

On July 11, 2020, Hu Yu Tong participated in Tencent's "The coming one Superband" survival program. On August 18th the Air League band/QYLM officially had five members (Hu Yu Tong, Tian Hong Jie, Li Run Qi, Ma Zhe, and Zhao Ke). On September 12, at The Coming One Superband Air League Final the band with 93 million votes finally became Wajijiwa Ent. label's strongest orchestra and won a gold record and thus making their debut.
On December 2, 2020. At the Cosmo Glam Night 2020 event, Hu Yu Tong became one of the winners of "Fashion Without Fear" of the year.
