Hanafusa Mari is a Japanese musical theatre actress and a former Top Musumeyaku (female lead) of the Takarazuka Revue's Snow Troupe and Cosmos Troupe. She made history as the first performer to portray Elisabeth in the Japanese production of the musical "Elisabeth" in 1996. Currently, she is signed with Blooming Agency as an actress.

Born in Tokyo, Japan, she initially attended Japan Women's University High School but left to enroll in the Takarazuka Music School as part of its 77th class in 1989. She officially joined the Takarazuka Revue in 1991 and became the Top Musumeyaku of the Snow Troupe from 1994 to 1998, later holding the same position in the Cosmos Troupe from 1998 to 2006. By the time she retired, she had served as a leading actress for 12 years and 3 months—setting the record for the longest Top Musumeyaku tenure in the Takarazuka Revue's history.

In 2010, she made her return to the stage. In 2015, she starred in Toho’s production of Elisabeth and earned her the 23rd Yomiuri Theater Grand Prix Award and the 41st Kazuo Kikuta Theater Award Grand Prize in 2015.

She made her television acting debut in 2017 in the taiga drama "Onna Joshu Naotora".
