She made her debut as an actress while attending Waseda University School of Letters, transferred from one part to the second part and graduated from the Department of Japanese Literature.
In 1982, she was nominated for the Japan Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for "Ah! Nomugi Toge Shinryoku Hen" and "Seiha". Since then, she has appeared in movies, TV dramas, and commercials, and in 1983 she performed nude in the movie "Theatre of Life".
She lived in New Hampshire, USA, where her husband works, and in Sapporo after returning to Japan, but now lives in Tokyo. She is a mother of two. Edit Biography
