Guan Shao Zeng, born in Dongcheng District, Beijing, is an actor from mainland China of Manchu descent. He is the son of Guan Xuezeng, founder of Beijing Qinshu. His daughter is film and television actress Guan Xiaotong (Gabrielle Guan).
In sixth grade of elementary school he was admitted to the People's Liberation Army Art Academy dance department, but was not allowed to go home. In his second year of junior high, was admitted to the dance team of the ACFTU Art Troupe. In the third year of junior high school, he was admitted to the PLA Academy of Art. In 1978, he joined the Air Administration Repertory Troupe of the Beijing Military Region. In 1985, he switched to Beijing Children's Art Theater. Acted in a series of dramas such as "Laid off, don't get down". Mainly acting in TV series. In 2008, he played Mr. Xu in "Love in the Fallen City". In 2015, starred in the TV series "The Wife's Lies" as Jiang Tianhao. In 2018, starred in the TV series "Sweet Combat" as the principal.
