An Isaan person by birth, Tiprachart spent her younger days in Kalasin where her family owns a rice farm before continuing her higher study in Artistic Communication at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Burapha University.
Tiprachart’s interests lie in the social issues of contemporary society and issues relating to the identities of people belonging to marginalised territories. She uses cinema to provoke conversations of systemic social issues in the hope of bringing people together.
Her twenty nineteen film Nha-Harn talks about Isaan culture and teenagers’ belief in Mor lam, a traditional style of Isaan music. Apart from Nha-Harn, Tiprachart has been involved in many socially driven films e.g. feature film The Otherness which was selected as Artist in Residency in the Objectifs Film Residency, Singapore (Thailand, 2015). She co-directed the movie Motel Mist directed by Prabda Yoon (Thailand, 2015), and also co-directed Ten Years Thailand: Sunset directed by Aditya Assarat (Thailand, 2017).
