She made her debut in August 2017 (using her birth name) as GOOD DAY's lead vocalist and lead dancer with their first EP, "All Day Good Day". However, the group was not able to promote much and was not successful, so they quietly disbanded in November 2019 as C9 Entertainment (C9엔터테인먼트) began planning their next girl group.
She then moved to About Entertainment (어바웃이엔티) and became part of their new girl group. She re-debuted in May 2020 (now using the stage name Ari) as REDSQUARE's lead vocalist with their first mini-album, "Prequel". However, the group was not successful, and the agency began looking for ways to restructure it. In December of that year, About ENT decided to transfer management control to Justice Records (저스티스 레코즈; formerly known as Iconic MnE), but they did not produce any new material after their debut and disbanded in June 2022.
Three of the members (including her) transferred to Mellow Entertainment (멜로우엔터테인먼트) and, in a co-management partnership with Justice Records, REDSQUARE was re-branded and re-launched as IRRIS.
She re-debuted (now using the stage name Yunseul) in July 2022 as IRRIS's main vocalist with their first EP, "Wanna Know". Their first comeback was scheduled for October of that year, but it was postponed and eventually cancelled due to the national mourning period after the Itaewon crowd rush tragedy.
The group never released any new material after that and has presumably disbanded, but no official announcement has ever been made. She is now active as a musical actress.
