Kim Bo Kyung, also known professionally as Neon, is a South Korean singer. She graduated from Onyang Yonghwa High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Applied Music from Yeoju University.

She first appeared on TV in 2008 as a contestant in the show "Korea Sings". But her major breakthrough occurred in 2010, when she participated as a contestant on MNet's singing survival show "Superstar K2". Despite placing outside the top-10, her powerful and clear vocals impressed the audience and she was voted the "Hot Issue" of the show, gaining more popularity and a fanbase even before some of the top-10 singers did. Veteran singer Hong Kyung Min invited her as the opening act of several of his concerts and later helped her establish herself in the industry.

She made her official debut in 2011 with the digital single "Because of You" and later became one of the queens of OSTs, performing singles for several dramas. In 2016, she began using the stage name Neon for her rock music and kept her real name for ballads. She is represented by Make U Mine Works (MUMW).
